Guide To Ordering

Ordering is easy - you are guided through online. If you change your mind at any stage, you can go back to the previous stage or cancel. Please call us on 0870 240 9000 if you have any problems or queries when making your order. Here is a summary:

Choose your celebrity photo

type the star's name in the Quick search box at the side of each page
browse the photo gallery look through the groups of pictures listed on the left
click the "Enlarge" button to have a closer look
click the "Next" button to proceed

Choose photos of your friend

Make sure your friend's face is at a similar angle to the face you want to replace (for example, a sideways profile will not work).
Send us the best quality photo you can - the higher the pixel count, the better - we recommend a file of at least 250kb in size.
Photos can be in the following file formats: .jpg.gif .tif .cpt. Best results will come from .jpg (or .jpeg) format.
If you are sending us a print to scan, please make it as large as possible.

Choose the head to be replaced

click the drop down arrow and select the letter corresponding to the letter by the head you want to replace

Select the frame and mount

simply click on the frame you want and it will be added to your order summary

Complete the order form

tell us where to deliver it
is it a gift? Complete a gift message
would you like extra copies? Enter the details
choose how you would like to pay.
check your order details
click the "submit your order" button to complete the transaction
remember, all your personal information is protected by the Famous Friends Privacy Policy

Upload/send your photo(s)

click on the "Browse" button to attach your photo file(s)
see our guide to uploading (below) if you need some help with this
review the upload details and click "Confirm"
if you prefer, email your digital photo to us later - just include your name and order number in the email
alternatively, send your print to us with your name and order number (we will return your print to you)
Don't forget, you are welcome to order by mail (see below) or phone (0870 240 9000)

Guide to uploading

Click the "Browse" button for Photo 1
Using the drop-down menu, locate the folder in which you have saved your photo on your computer.
(Note: You may have to click through various folders in order to access the folder in which your photo is saved. For example, you may have saved your photo in a sub-folder of "My Pictures" called "Summer Holiday". The file name would therefore look something like this:
C:\My Documents\My Pictures\Summer Holiday\mypic001.jpg
To upload this photo, you would click on "My Documents" in the drop-down menu, double-click "My Pictures" in the window, then double-click "Summer Holiday" and select your photo.)

(If you have saved your photo to a CD, insert the disc into the CD-ROM drive and locate the CD-ROM drive on the drop-down menu. Then simply locate your photo on the disc.)
Select the photo you want to send us, and click the [Open] button. You will then return to the Order Form. You may now choose to upload a second photo, so that our technicians can choose which will be most suitable, by following the above steps again with the Photo 2 "Browse" button. If you do not want to upload a second photo, click the [Upload] button and your upload will begin. Please be patient - photos can be very large files so this may take a few minutes!

Order confirmation

we'll send you an e-mail confirming your order and we'll send you one to confirm that your photo(s) were successfully uploaded

Delivery

you can check the status of your order at any time by emailing us at helpdesk@famousfriends.co.uk
we'll send you another e-mail when your photos have been sent out from our fulfillment centre. We undertake to deliver your photo within 10 days (up to 17 days overseas) of your order - normally much sooner and we'll always meet special day deadlines (Father's Day, Christmas etc.)

Ordering by mail

Print the order form you require:
To order a Famous Friends product please click here.
To order a print only please click here.
Complete the order form.
You can send us your photo(s) on a CD, floppy disk or the actual print (we will return the print to your address unless you say that you do not want it returned). Please write the photo number for the photo(s) you want us to use on the form.
Note who in your photo(s) you want us to insert into the Famous Friends picture (ie second from the left).
Enclose cheque (payable to Famous Friends Ltd) or supply credit/debit card details.
