Famous musicians from way back when to today...

This was the era when one British band rocked the world. Four young men from Liverpool took the world by storm and still remain one of the biggest selling groups of all time, they were of course, the Beatles. This period of rock history also brought us the classic clashes between Mods and Rockers, with their chromed Vespa scooters and long parker overcoats the Mods listened to bands such as The Who and the Clash, while the Rockers, with their chunkier motorbikes and black leather jackets chilled out to the sounds of Black Sabbath and Motorhead. The numerous and often violent clashes between these two groups of music followers was showcased in the film Quadrophenia.

Gradually towards the mid-end of the 70s glam rock was born with such outstanding groups as Slade, with their perennial Christmas classic "(So here its is) Merry Christmas", and the ultimate glam-rockers, Queen with their unforgettable rendition and video for "Bohemian Rhapsody" setting the bar for future generations of pop music videos.
