Calista Flockhart: Born Calista Kay Flockhart in Freeport, Illinois (November 1964). After working on Broadway and landing roles in the films Quiz Show (1994) and The Birdcage (1996), she shot to fame playing the title role on the television series Ally McBeal (1997-2002). Amid much media speculation that she might have suffered from anorexia nervosa she sometimes earned harsh criticism for playing an 'incompetent' underfed waif, particularly considering the show's popularity with teenage girls. Her December 2000 collapse on set fuelled rumours of bulimia, although it was announced she suffered from dehydration and exhaustion. In January 2001, she adopted a baby boy, whom she named Liam. In 2002 she became engaged to actor Harrison Ford.

Harrison Ford: Born in Chicago, July 1942, Harrison's big movie break came in 1975 when he played Han Solo in George Lucas's Star Wars (and in the two sequels). He added to his heroic screen image throughout the 1980's with the Indiana Jones trilogy and the sci-fi classic Blade Runner. In 1994 the National Association of Theatre Owners named him "Star of the Century", and although he has never won an Oscar, in 2000 he was given a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute.
