Description: Take That band members Jason Orange, Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald at the premiere of the movie Stardust at Leicester Square, London, October 2007.
Jason Orange: Jason Orange (born Jason Thomas Orange, 10 July 1970, Wythenshawe, Manchester, England) is an English singer and dancer. He was one fifth of the successful English boyband, Take That during the early 1990s and again, from 2005. Orange's first experience with fame came when his breakdancing skills landed him a role The Hitman and Her. After the break-up of Take That, Orange studied acting. In 1999, he performed in Gob by Jim Kenworth at the The King's Head Theatre in London. He then attended South Trafford College, studying psychology and sociology. Orange is currently touring with the re-formed Take That, who released a new album Beautiful World on 27 November 2006. During the first round of Take That Jason was best known for his skills as a dancer and was never given lead vocals on any of the songs. The new album features Jason on lead vocals for the first time in Take That, on the song, "Wooden Boat" which he sang on the opening night of the Beautiful World tour in Belfast, apologising if it was "pitchy" he admitted, "..it took me 17 years to do that".
Mark Owen: Mark Anthony Patrick Owen (born 27 January 1972 in Oldham, Lancashire, England) is an English singer/songwriter, but he may be best known for being one fifth of the hugely successful pop group Take That during the early 1990s and again in the mid 2000s. At a young age, he dreamt of becoming a professional football player, and had trials for Manchester United, Huddersfield Town and Rochdale football clubs, but due to serious injury, he had no choice but to give up his dreams.
Gary Barlow: Gary Barlow (born January 20, 1971 in Frodsham, Cheshire, England) is an English singer, pianist, songwriter, bandleader and producer. He is a member of the boy band Take That, and was one of the most successful songwriters of the 1990s, penning no fewer than 16 hit singles during the decade. Gary had 2 #1's and 5 Top 40 UK Singles. He is also a 4 time recipient of the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards.
Howard Donald: Howard Paul Donald (born 28 April 1968 in Droylsden, Manchester, England) is an English singer and DJ. He was one fifth of the hugely successful 1990s English boyband Take That. He sang lead vocals on one of the band's many number 1 singles, Never Forget. In the 2006 ITV documentary Take That For The Record (broadcast on the 10th anniversary of the band's demise) Howard shocked his fellow band members and manager with the revelation that he had been so depressed with the split in 1996 that he had walked away from the press conference with the genuine intention of committing suicide by jumping into the River Thames. Instead, he spent the years after the break-up developing his songwriting skills and trying to land himself a solo record deal. However, he has since relaunched himself as a successful club DJ. He is father of two daughters, Grace May (born 1999) and Lola May (born 2005). They have different mothers (Victoria Piddington & Marie-Christine Musswessels). David Walliams parodied Howard in Rock Profile, in which he lives with fellow Take That member, Gary Barlow, with heavy reliance placed on the fact that he shares his name with two cartoon ducks (Howard the Duck and Donald Duck). In 2005 Take That reformed for "one last tour" in the summer of 2006, following the release of their Greatest Hits album. In late 2006 Take That reunited and released their first studio album since 1995, Beautiful World and off it they recorded two number ones in Patience and Shine. The new album features Howard on lead vocals on two tracks; Beautiful World and Mancunian Way . The song Mancunian Way is a tribute to the band's hometown Manchester.
