Kimi Raikkonen: Born Kimi Matias Raikkonen in Espoo, Finland, October 1979. Kimi began his driving career in International karting aged 10, he came to the attention of Racing boss Peter Sauber in 2000 while driving in the Formula Renault championship (winning 13 of 23 races). He made his F1 debut in 2001, scoring a championship point in his first race. In 2002 he joined Maclaren Mercedes, replacing fellow Finn, Mika Hakkinen on his retirement. Kimi’s first Grand Prix win came in Malaysia 2003, a year in which he fought Michael Schumacher right to the final race for the world title. Following technical and reliability problems with the car in 2004, Kimi, and team mate Juan Pablo Montoya, are racing to the forefront of Formula 1 in 2005.

Michael Schumacher: Born in Hurth, Germany, January 1969, teenage Michael was the German and European Karting Champion in 1987. He was racing Formula 1 cars by 1991, and won his first Grand Prix a year later. Schumacher won his first World Champion title in 1994 with Benetton, whom he stayed with for four years before moving to Ferrari. In 2000 he won them their first world title in 21 years. A dominant force in the sport of Formula 1 racing, Michael has gone on to numerous race victories and eight World Championship titles.
