Lawrence Fishburne: Born in Augusta, Georgia (July 1961). Laurence started acting aged of 12, getting his big break as Joshua Hall on the TV soap, One Life to Live in 1973. He later earned a supporting role in Francis Ford Coppola's "Apocalypse Now", as well as a recurring role as "Cowboy Curtis" alongside Pee Wee Herman in the children's TV show, "Pee-Wee's Playhouse". However, it was his 1991 role in Boyz N The Hood that gained him major recognition as an outstanding actor. The next year, he won a Tony Award for his stage performance in August Wilson's Two Trains Running, followed by an Oscar nomination one year later for his portrayal of Ike Turner in What's Love Got to Do With It?. Also in 1992, he received an Emmy Award for an episode of the short-lived TV series Tribeca. Nowadays Fishburne is best known for his role as Morpheus, the hacker-mentor of Neo (Keanu Reeves) in the blockbuster science fiction movie series "The Matrix." In September, 2002, Fishburne married actress, Gina Torres. Fishburne is often confused with fellow actor Samuel L Jackson.

Carrie-Anne Moss: Born in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada (August 1967). Moved from a modelling career in the ‘80s to star in the television series Dark Justice. Her breakthrough role came in 1999 when she was chosen to play the leather-clad computer hacker Trinity in The Matrix, a role she reprised in two sequels as well as voicing video game and animated spin-offs. She married actor Steven Roy in 1999 and they had a son in 2003.

Keanu Reeves: Born in Beirut, Lebanon, September 1964. Keanu is an Anglo/Canadian Hollywood film actor. He moved to Canada as a young boy and took up stage performance work getting his first big part as Wolfboy in 1984, and then in 1985 he got his first big feature film debut in a US film Youngblood. Keanu moved to Hollywood in 1986 were he went on to make some fantastic films including, Rivers Edge, Speed, and The Matrix.
