Paul McCartney: Born in Liverpool in June 1942. Paul joined his first band The Quarrymen in 1957 where he first met with John Lennon. In 1960 they changed their name to the Beatles and rose to stardom with some wonderful songs like, A Hard Day's Night and I Want To Hold Your Hand. Paul still performs today, and at his last concert in St.Petersburg palace square, Paul marked the 3,000th performance of his career, with still more to come.

John Lennon: Born in October 1940, John's fist band was The Quarrymen which he formed in 1956. He met with Paul McCartney when he was 15 and Paul was 14, at first he didn't want George Harrison to join the band because he felt he was too young. The band later became known as the Beatles. In December 1980 John was shot to death on the streets of New York, a sad end to a wonderful man.

George Harrison: Born February 1943, in Liverpool. George joined John Lennon and Paul McCartney in 1957 as a guitarist for The Quarrymen, adding Ringo Starr and becoming The Beatles in 1962. His interest in Indian culture flavoured much of their work and he performed a benefit concert for Bangladesh. he also produced two movies by the Monty Python team and in the '90s joined supergroup The Travelling Wilburys. In 1999 an obsessed fan broke into his home and stabbed him. George died in November 2001 after a long fight against cancer. His single, My Sweet Lord, was released for charity after his death, topping the Uk charts in 2002.
