Description: Muhammad Ali on the ropes with George Foreman

Muhammad Ali: Born Cassius Marcellus Clay in Kentucky, January 1942. He changed his name after winning his first title in 1964 and joining the Islamic Faith. With his self-imposed nickname The Greatest, he went on to win the title twice more before retiring in 1981. Since then Ali has been suffering from Parkinson's Disease, though he did not let that stop him from lighting the Olympic flame at the start of the Atlanta games in 1996.
